Morgan Geyser, known as the 'Slender Man' stabber, has been recaptured by Illinois police after escaping from a group home in Wisconsin. At just 12 years old, Geyser infamously stabbed her classmate 19 times in 2014 to appease the fictional character Slender Man. After fleeing the facility by removing her monitoring device, she was found at a truck stop in Posen, Illinois, where she acknowledged her past actions and suggested officers "just Google" her name. Geyser was sentenced to 40 years in a mental hospital and had been granted conditional release earlier this year. The case drew national attention due to its shocking nature and the influence of internet culture on young minds.
